WHAT IS VITAMIN C?
Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin which is also known as ascorbic acid, it is an essential vitamin as the body is unable to synthesize it. VITAMIN C: IS IT BAD FOR YOU?
Vitamin C from food sources are generally safe and have no adverse side effects. The supplemental form of vitamin C has been associated with some adverse side effects with dosage of above 2000 mg.
